Correspondence, newsletters, press releases, and other papers of the K.A.M. Isaiah Israel Congregation, a Reform Jewish congregation located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago (Ill.). The collection includes materials related to the history of the congregation and Rabbi Gerson B. Levi and Rabbi Morton M. Berman, as well as correspondence with the office of Illinois Governor Dwight H. Green (box 1). Box 2 contains programs, correspondence, speeches, and press releases from the congregation's 90th, 95th, and centennial anniversary celebrations. Box 3 contains typed transcripts of articles from the Occident and American Jewish Advocate, a monthly periodical on Jewish literature and religion, and copies of the Isaiah Temple Tidings newsletters. In addition is a copy of A Russian Chronicle, a memoir by Michael L. Zlatovski (1977).
